THE GEORGE HOTEL

Our client requested a light and airy country feel to this design. We achieved that by using Farrow and Ball tonal ‘whites’ on the walls and mixed that with fabrics from Voyage, Vanessa Arbuthnott, Designers Guild and William Yeoward. Throwing in cushions and dressing that reflected the country look. Chicken Fabrics and kitchen linens from Sophie Allport, Linum and Voyage. Individual one-off handmade cushions and throws. Some furniture was the clients own which we supplemented by using items from Voyage, Neptune and One World Trading and many other of our suppliers. The overall effect achieved was one of comfortable, relaxed country living.

" I met David & Andrew last year and we went about an interior design programme of two new bedrooms at my hotel, The George in South Molton. I was so pleased with the end result as were the guests that we have over the last four weeks worked on a further six bedrooms which have been completed this week. I am absolutely delighted with the outcome and couldn't be prouder of our new bedroom product. David & Andrew oversaw the entire refurbishment programme meticulously, managed the excellent trades and are still here today ensuring that every detail is just as it should be. As interior designers I cannot rate their work highly enough... they are really very good at what they do.
